If Rimini is now one of the best-known tourist destinations in Italy and Europe, it is undoubtedly thanks to its seaside charm. The wide range of services, the sincere smiles of its simple people, and the ease with which it can be reached in various ways from many parts of Italy make it a top choice when it comes to beach holidays.
Rimini’s tourist appeal is actually a relatively recent phenomenon and the city has a much older history, as demonstrated by ancient Roman remains (the Arch of Augustus, the Surgeon’s House and Tiberius Bridge).
